Speed Up and Tweak Windows XP

Is your computer slow? have you grown tired of waiting for a program to load?
Here are some of the tricks and tips you can use to tweak, boost and speed up windows XP.

1. Configure startup and services using "msconfig"
* Go to run.
* Type msconfig and enter

* On startup tab, uncheck all unnecessary programs (programs you don't need).

* On  services tab, uncheck all unecessary services.

* restart your computer.
 2. Remove spywares malwares and viruses.
You can use any antivirus program that suites you. The best anti virus programs are those that can remove harmful files in your computer without damaging the system.
Some of them that i use are:
* NOD32
* Avira Antivirus Free
I also recommend using this small tool to help you clean your files. It also speeds up the system by cleaning the registry. The tool is called ComboFix. You can download it HERE. ( http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix )
